hey guys,

need to do some of this over email, since we couldn't meet yesterday.  hope everyone enjoyed their 2 hour delay this morning!  and go eagles!!!  this

means definite super bowl party!

 

FUNDRAISER: 

if you are not signed up for a job, please let me know.  we usually feed 200 people that night, so all hands need to be on deck!  this is where we raise our good works money as well as funding for our other missions and missionaries.   also, if your family or workplace can donate something for the silent auction, please let me know.  remember that the youth group is responsible for desserts.  please let me know what you're bringing.  it's ok to go to highland or guinta's and buy something (you don't have to bake if you don't want to).  OKAY - PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PARAGRAPH IS FILLED WITH THINGS YOU NEED TO RESPOND TO!

 

HOODIES: 

everyone needs to have reviewed and prayed over the possible "theme"scriptures from last week.  we will choose it this week.  the printer can then send us a mockup of what the art will look like on the shirt.

 

MELINDA:

Please read the email from Melinda I sent out over the weekend.  We will  make a decision about how much to send to Melinda and David for their trip to India to help with Tsunami relief this weekend.  Also, those of you who volunteered to be on the Melinda committee for her kids in Mozambique, I haven't forgotten you.  I'll have more packets this weekend for those of you who didn't get one and we'll schedule a meeting to talk about how to proceed.

 

EVENTS THIS WEEK:

Sunday School will meet this Sunday at 9:30am and MYF will meet this Sunday from 7-9pm.  My Bible Study will meet on Tuesday from 7-9pm and Carl's will meet on Thursday from 7-9pm.
