MYF Stuff

MYF this Sunday.  7-9pm.  Matt Schweitzer is speaking.  Ya'll come.

 

Saturday, October 23rd.  Work day at Mr. Hines' house in Coatesville.  8:00-1pm.  Please let me know if you can help.  ALSO, WE HAVE CHANGED the date of Mr. Hines' house dedication to January so we can get more stuff done.

 

Saturday night, October 30th:  HALLOWEEN PARTY  9pm-1am.  Details to come at MYF this Sunday.  We have a great group planning this event (Ross, Alex, Christa, Lindsay, and MattS).

 

Weekly, Bible Study opportunities with Carl on Monday night at 7pm studying Revelation, and with Jackie for seniors and college age, studying Genesis on Tuesdays at 7:30pm.  You can still join in.

 

As always, Sunday School at 9:30am.

 

Please sign up for the Fall Retreat at Gretna Glen November 5-7th if you haven't already.  Cost is $80 (rest is subsidized).  If you've lost your permission slip, let me know.  Theme of the retreat is "AN ORDINARY DAY WITH JESUS".

 

HOLLAND UPDATE:  I have talked to most of you personally, but FYI for everyone:  We have decided NOT TO GO TO HOLLAND for Easter 2005.  While this is a great evangelical opportunity, it's timing depends on all of you not having school over Easter Break.  Since Downingtown and Coatesville school districts don't have this break in 2005 (these school districts make up 95% of our youth group), it has been decided that this will not work for us.  I'm sure that God will open another door for us somewhere else.  Read Jeremiah 29:11.  He has great plans for us.  Let's discover together where that is.
