Friday morning 9:30 AM Dateline Montrose, South Dakota

Hi All-

 

Just spoke with Billy Bob - they are under way to the Badlands today and will be spending their first night on the Rez tonight.  They are on Interstate 90 and Bill said it was flat, flat, flat - they could see for miles.

 

They got in last night about 8:30 pm and ate at Olive Garden.  Left this morning about 9:00 or so our time.  They had a minor mishap in the church parking lot and traded some paint with someone else's car - no real damage, no injuries, nothing to worry about.

 

Updates after today may be limited to when they call me, and the further west they go, the less cell phone coverage they have.  Once they get established on the Rez, however, Carol should have her internet connection and will be updating the Pine Ridge Mission Trip website., as well as posting notes here on this site.
